1. Share your story.
2. Apply to join the Steering Committee.
3. Apply to join the Advisory Panel.
4. Participate in a sub-committee (eg Awareness and Promotion, PARTY, Fundraising etc.)
5. Become a Heads Up! Durham “Community Champion”.

       Community Champions are either:

• Individuals/families representing specific geographic areas of Durham Region where they live or work (e.g. Oshawa, Uxbridge etc.) or
• Corporations/agencies/businesses etc. who represent/serve the Region              

    As a Heads Up! Durham Community Champion you have the opportunity to:

• Be an advocate for Heads Up! Durham.
• Help ensure information is being shared and communicated.
• Help ensure the unique needs of your community are being addressed by Heads Up! Durham (eg you may be in a community where ATV safety is very important or where pedestrian safety is identified as a main need).
• Identify support for Heads Up! Durham (interested community members, donors etc.)
